About This Workshop

The Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest and Development Law (NBA-SPIDEL) invites legal practitioners, civil society organisations, academics, policymakers, and stakeholders to its National Workshop on Electoral Reform. This one-day event will bring together some of Nigeria’s foremost legal minds to examine the gaps, challenges, and opportunities within the country’s electoral framework.

Nigeria’s democracy depends on an electoral system that is credible, transparent, and trusted by the people it serves. This workshop is an opportunity for the legal community to lead that conversation — not just in theory, but with actionable proposals for reform that can strengthen democratic governance and protect the integrity of every vote.
